STORY # 0040 |

Last summer I was selling me house. My realtor called me one day and was kinda laughing a little and proceeded to tell me that the lady that looked at my house had asked her to find out if I was single and/or if I was interested in meeting someone. I didn't think too much about it at the time. A couple days later I got a call on my cell phone from "Sara, the person that's buying your house". She asked me several goofy questions about the house and then asked me if I wanted to get together for a beer some time. I just told her maybe sometime, but that I was really busy trying to get ready to move and getting ready for an out of town trip. Two days later I was out in my driveway loading my pickup truck for an out of town trip at about 9pm at night and a car slows down and stops at the end of my driveway. I walk out to see who it is and whether I can help these people and find out it is her. She introduces herself and says she was just out for a drive and decided to drive by the house to see it again (Its dark at this point). I tell her I'm really busy and that I am late and have to go.
She calls a few more times over the next couple weeks and then I didn't hear from her or see her until we closed on my house. She invited me to go out and have beers with them to celebrate, but I had other things to do in preparation of buying my new home so I had a good out. I left a few odds and ends in the basement that I told her she could either keep or throw away. I got a phone call from her a few days later and she asked me to go out with her again, when I said no thank you, she became irate and started yelling at me and told me that I was taking advantage of our "relationship" and that I should have never left the items I did in the basement and that she wanted me to come by that day to pick them up. I told her to throw it all away and to never call me again. Since then, she's called several times but I just ignore the phone and don't answer. True story....name was changed to protect the psycho. |
